Watching "Pagemaster" and this was the conversation that happened between Alex and I...

(Me) Fantasy and Adventure are kinda' the same thing... Kinda'...
(Alex) But There's Adventure in Horror...
(Me) Not necessarily.
(Alex) ...that's true. Like that Edgar Allen Poe story where that guy is in the house, and then there's lightning and then the house is gone.
(Me) That wasn't Poe. That was HP Lovecraft.
(Alex) Oh. That's right.
(Me) A good example of a Poe with no adventure is "The Raven".
(Alex) Bird is in my house.
(Me) I should have closed that window.
(Alex) Then I had this party. Plague showed up.
(Me) ...I really should have closed that window.
(Alex) That stinky cat keeps coming back. I hate that cat.
(Me) ...Probably should get around to closing that window.
(Alex) My relative thought his wife died... But she didn't.
(Me) ...Maybe it was a draft from that open window.
(Alex) Then I had some really good wine, and bricked this annoying guy behind my wall.
(Me) ...I think I'll close that window now.

*Laughs* ...Ah, Poe stories are fun. You read them, and someone either gets bricked up, or someone wasn't actually dead, or diseases are personified... It's all good.

Visit your local library and pick up a Poe today! *thumb up, DING!* :)

man, I can't believe the amount of bad luck the two of you have to endure in this short period of time. Talk about Murphy's law.
Anyway, I hope thing will get better from now on, no one should ever have to go trough all of that at the same time

Its ok to "ramble." Life has its roller coaster of ups and downs and all we can do is go with it. Take your time and I hope everything works out for Houdini and your grandfather. Keep close to the ones YOU care about because life is whole lot less harder to deal with durning these times when you are with your friends and family.
