:bulletblack: REQUIEM MASK -- Recent / Beginning -- The IG Book Project :bulletblack:

Welcome to my humble little DeviantART gallery.

All the artwork displayed here are depictions of Gaston Leroux's "The Phantom of the Opera". Which if you have seen any of the movies or plays, please do spend the time reading the book... it is so much better!

I am illustrating a comic adventure in which Erik has been given a second chance in the present, but he must deal with the fact that he is now a real ghost, and that he has a companion who is determined to see that he will not fall again. Will he be doomed to relive his past? Or will he find peace and redemption?

I have taken some artistic liberties. I will however, try to keep my images as true to fact as possible. Thank you for your interest, and to my dear devoted readers, my most humblest gratitude.

:bulletblack: Recent News :bulletblack:

I've decided to hold a contest again. This time it's a fairly significant one because most of the proceeds (save for the shipping expenses) will go to Operation Smile.

It's about time IG gives back to the community. And even though I try to preach love and tolerance of inner beauty, and focus not what is on the outside, who am I to deny a smile to a wonderful child.

I hope that this too, will also inspire you to try to win this contest! Alright, well, it's more of an auction. I want to try to make a significant donation if at all possible. So, I hope that all of you (even if you cannot participate in the bidding) will advertise the auction on your personal sites and pages.

So what is the bonus of this auction next to charity?
I'm glad you asked...

I have purchased a 2GB Sansa MP3 player (Regular $80 value) and will be loading it with songs from my playlists. They will feature songs from popular artists, as well as long forgotten melodies. I love music, as you all know, and I would love to spread that around and maybe introduce you to some artists that you may not have heard before. Also, Some of the songs will be featured on the Requiem Mask Soundtrack when that comes out (yes, there will be a soundtrack!). There will be some crew recordings from the Requiem Mask cartoon, and finally, a preview recording for the new Phantom book "Dies Irae" from the writer! This book is what inspired Requiem Mask's story, and the book has not been released yet, so it's a huge sneak preview.

I will make a page available for viewing that will update you on the status of the auction. I will be taking bids through private notes, so that I can keep track of things cleanly and privately.

Bidding starts at $15, and will open on Monday, and I hope I can get all of your support through this. I am looking forward to giving children smiles with all of you.

Art transcends everything, life, love hate and hurt. Art just is.
You have a very charming art style! I really appreciate your drawings, and all the characteristics that you jam into each character that makes them seem that much more realistic.

Trent says: APRIL FOOLS. YOUR CATS ARE DEAD

Maddie says: ): It's still march here

Trent says: oh

whoops

then I guess your cats really are dead
I decided today that I would make a Requiem Mask Sims2 family and you'd be interested to know what happened to them when I left them alone for an hour...

1) Erik and Chelsey got married

2)Erik and Raoul got into a hilarious tackle fight

3)Everybody was in hot tubs at the same time.

4)as soon as Chelsey got out of the hot tub, she randomly caught on fire

5) Azadeh tried to put her out,but Daroga was flirting with her

6) Chelsey died and Erik didn't really care

7) Heather begged the grim reaper for Chelsey's life

8)Chelsey came back to life and killed Raoul and Christine...

yeah... that's what happens when you leave them unsupervised...

Here you\'ll be safe from all prying and vicious eyes,
Safe from all venomous words and malicious lies,
Sleep gentle creature, my love and my protégé,
As for myself, I will worship you night and day,
All my existence will end if you go away.

-Erik
*Laughs* Oh my! That's spectacular! What Sims2 do you have? I have the PS2 version, and mine never did any of that. *Laughs* Oh, terrific!

THE IRON-GIBBET

"And what is in a branch? There's a gibbet! That is why I call my forest the torture chamber!"
it's the version for computers, I just made them all friends and that's what happened when I sat back and let them play themselves

Ah, yes, I've heard that there is a lot more that can happen on the computer version than the PS2 version.

it's interesting how Erik didn't care about his wife, too....that just made me start laughing at the truth of that reaction.
